WHO WE ARE
Introduction
Greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The name of this church shall be the (Ottawa Karen Christian Fellowship Church) (O.K.C.F.C).
The Lord’s recovery advanced significantly in the twentieth century with the revelation that the universal church (Matthew 16:18), the Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:23), is expressed on the earth as local churches on the ground of oneness (John 17:21). We are captured by this vision.
"Karen Christian Family Fellowship Church" was directly raised up by Pastor Lah Say. We started our church just over a few years now. We first worships our God in our small home with small group of people. We called it "The Home Church".
But we believed in God, and God blessed us. Now, our church became a local church. If there were Christians in this city who met as a local church according to the vision of the ground of oneness. Realizing that there was not a group of Christian believers who bore the testimony of the ground of oneness in Ottawa, I am having the vision of the ground of oneness enjoyed the first Lord’s Table, which testified to the oneness of the Body of Christ being expressed locally in Ottawa.
Ottawa Karen Christian Fellowship Church was founded by the Karen community, originally from Myanmar. Most of the people that associate with this organization are the Karen community. However, we welcome every ethnicity who would love to join and support our Karen Christian Family Fellowship Church.
We look forwards to having you visit us.

Ottawa Karen Christian Fellowship Church is a vibrant faith community that seeks to embody a loving God's as revealed in Jesus Christ. We recognize that, in order to reflect God’s love and grace, and to faithfully follow in the path of Jesus, we are called to honour all God’s children for their unique gifts, and to promote peace, social justice and a healthy environment as we work together to deepen our own spiritual growth. We share in worships, prayers and learning, and we offer care and support to all, including those of diverse ages. (Galatians 2:20)
We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who have personally received Him as our Saviour. He is the most excellent and enjoyable person. We love Him and endeavour to give Him the first place in all things.
We rejoice to be cleansed by the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, born again of the Father’s divine life, and filled with the Holy Spirit. We highly treasure the Holy Bible as God’s revelation of Himself and of His eternal purpose.
We hold the common faith which is revealed in the Bible and is common to all genuine believers. As is true of all believers in Christ, we are members of His one Body, the church. In order to practice the oneness of the Body with all the Christians in Ottawa, We hope and we are wide to express the one Body of Christ.
Our desire is to be a place where people of all nationalities and generations can feel welcome because we know that in addition to our precious relationship with Jesus, our community is made strong through the diversity that age and culture brings. (Mark 16:15-18.)
We pride ourselves in being a church in which you can feel safe, loved and part of a God centre community. We think that you would enjoy your time with us if you come to check us out!

About Our Church LOGO
1. THE CHURCH: The church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of he great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the General Church and Church of the First born, which are written in Heaven.
2.THE FATHER: Reigns with providential care over all life and history in the created universe. He hears and answers prayers (I Chronicles 29:11-13; Matthew 7:11). He initiated salvation by sending His Son, and He is Father to those who by faith accept His Son as Lord and Saviour (I John 4:9-10; John 3:16; John 1:12; Acts 16:31).
3. THE SON: The Son became man, Jesus Christ, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (John 1:14; Matthew 1:18). Being fully God and fully man, He revealed God through His sinless life, miracles and teaching (John 14:9; Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 4:23-24). He provided salvation through His atoning death in our place and by His bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; II Corinthians 5:21; Romans 4:23-25). He ascended into heaven where He rules over all creation (Philippians 2:5-11). He intercedes for all believers and dwells in them as their ever- present Lord (Romans 8:34; John 14:23).
4. THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Holy Spirit inspired men to write the Scriptures (II Peter 1:21). Through this Word, He convicts individuals of their sinfulness and of the righteousness of Christ, draws them to the Saviour, and bears witness to their new birth (James 1:18; John 16:7-11; I Thessalonians 1:5-6; Romans 8:16). At regeneration and conversion, the believers is baptized in the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 12:13). The Spirit indwells seals and gives spiritual gifts to all believers for ministry in the church and society (Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 1:13-14; Romans 12:5-8; I Peter 4:10). He empowers, guides, teaches, fills, sanctifies and produces the fruit of Christ likeness in all who yield to Him (Acts 4:31; Romans 8:14; I Corinthians 2:10-13; Ephesians 5:18; II Thessalonians 2:13; Galatians 5:16; 22-23).
5. THE BIBLE: The scriptures inspired. The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
6. THE CROSS: At the cross the whole world has the opportunity to be reconciled to the Father. The peaces that the world has been seeking, the unity of all people is founded in blood. “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility”. Reconciliation for the world, peace, shalom, and unity comes only by the blood of the cross. No blood means no harmony.
